Imagine two singers who’ve distinguished themselves in Jazz and Soul, joining efforts to organize a tour on a national (Douala and Yaoundé in September) and international level (Spain, Senegal and France).
Mia Ngiamba and Daniel Eog Makedah have been on stage with some of Africa’s finest musicians such as Manu Dibango and Les Nubians among others and have as well won awards (Masao du Jeune Talent, Découvertes Fespam, Prix du Jeune Public [festival Lausanne] and Finalist of the Prix Découvertes RFI 2013).
Essentially, the project entails setting up a band which will be on tour during international music festivals, thereby enabling the exposure of these artists to an international audience. In order for this to happen, these artists have launched a crowd funding project on Kiss Kiss Bank Bank to raise 10,000 €. For anyone not familiar with crowd funding platforms, your contribution will be automatically refunded if the goal of the project is not reached by the end of the campaign.
