Mexico occupies a unique place in Latin American writing; writers such as D.H. Lawrence, Roberto Bolaño, Gabriel García Márquez, Graham Greene, John Steinbeck, and William S. Burroughs lived in and were influenced by Mexico in abundant ways.
In collaboration with The Ofi Press, this issue features new writing by Mexican writers in English translation, and is a companion issue to The Ofi Press 24 which features new writing from West Africa translated into Spanish.
