Glam Jail is a tale by by Franco-Brazilian photographer Pol Kurucz about 11 eccentric inmates transforming a prison visitor booth into a colourful fashion haven. Through visual allegories and pop aesthetics the photographer challenges social and racial norms symbolized by the carceral universe. The shootings took place in the Offen Studio in Sao Paulo in August 2017. The series features local models, celebrities and dresses exclusively from local fashion brands.
