Bakwa Short Story Prize Award Ceremony/Reading Series [Pictures]

Yesterday evening, at the Goethe-institut Kamerun, Bakwa Magazine organised a double event. The award ceremony for the Bakwa Magazine Short Story Competition and the first edition of the Bakwa Magazine Reading Series, a quarterly event which hosts a wide selection of writers, translators, editors and poets, and connects them to various local communities by hosting events in different cities.
The crowd was made up of a mix of writers, poets, translators, spoken word artists, students, engineers and journalists.
